Icing Smiles is personal for me. As a disabled child with a facial birth defect, I spent a lot of time in hospital pediatric units. As I got older, I understood there were children facing much more than I was and, sadly, some never went home.
Being able to use my talent to give these children and their families something special and a small bit of "normalcy" is priceless and so heartwarming, their reactions are give me so much joy.
