I am donating a cake for a 4 year old boy named Dominic that is battling with a rare and severe heart defect he was diagnosed with: left ventricular non-compaction. In January 2015, Dominic received a new heart, just in time for his second birthday.
Even with a new heart Dominic still faces many challenges. Dominic has a strict medication regimen and extra germ sensitivity due to medically suppressed immune system to prevent rejection. A simple cold can be life threatening to him.
My hope is that this cake will bring great joy to a little boy that has gone through so much, and to help him and his family have a special day of celebration. Please donate what ever you can so that other children can have the joy of celebrating an amazing birthday.
