As owner/operator of Angie Bakes Cakes, I have made many cakes over the years. My goal always is to create a special, custom cake specifically for that person. But sometimes with a critically ill child, a cake can be a way for the family to temporarily escape from worries and to create special memories during a difficult time. Long after the cake is gone, those sweet memories will remain. These are the times when a cake is so much more than just a cake.
