Icing Smiles is a wonderful group that strives to help the families of critically ill children celebrate their special occasions with awesome cakes!
Planning (and paying for!) parties can be difficult in the midst of drs visits, hospital stays, and daily special health needs. Bakers across the US have volunteered to do what they can to meet needs that arise in their area, whether for the sick child themselves, or the siblings who also need some special love and attention. :)
I have the opportunity to make just such a cake for a young girl whose brother is battling Cystic Fibrosis. Would you like to join me in making this day special for her?!
The first $50 raised will be made available to me to help offset the cost of supplies and ingredients. Any additional monies raised will support this terrific organization directly, in honor of Swirlz Bakery's participation in their cause. :)
