Help me bake a difference for a family dealing with the critical illness of a child!

Have you ever done something in your life and never thought it could be your call? That's my story with pastry, cakes, desserts. I never believed people when they used to tell me that I was really good. I looked at my amazing aunt like she was the pastry goddess and all I wanted was to be like her. When she passed and left a hole in me, I decided I was going to follow my passion and honor her memory and all the things she taught me. Years later, I moved to the United States and I'm creating art with cakes. Have you ever seen the smile of a child when he/she sees the birthday cake? Or the face of someone who's eating your dessert and they look like they're in dessert heaven? That's what inspires me to do what I do.

Joining Icing Smiles was the best thing I did. I created only one cake so far but, when I saw the kid's mom smile, when she texted me words that brought me to tears, I knew I've done some good. The world needs more of this kindness.
