I received a request from Icing Smiles to make a cake for a young lady celebrating her 13th birthday. She has been battling Astrocytoma Brain Cancer. Icing Smiles is a volunteer organization of bakers providing cakes for children battling critical illnesses or their siblings. My favorite part of being a Sugar Angel is seeing the smiles when I deliver a custom cake!
If you have enjoyed a slice of my cake, I ask that you make a small contribution. By donating to Icing Smiles you will help Sugar Angels, like me, offset the cost of materials for custom cakes for these children as well as enable Icing Smiles to serve more families impacted by the critical illness of a child.
