I've joined this group of volunteer bakers who make beautiful cakes for children who are sick and need a smile on their birthdays. A friend's daughter received an amazing cake for her 9th birthday last fall and I immediately knew that I wanted to put my love of creating beautiful and tasty cakes to good use for this great cause. In a few weeks, I will be creating a cake for a little girl who is turning 3 while battling cancer at Seattle Children's Hospital. I would greatly appreciate any support you can offer to this organization (who will also return a small portion to me to help to offset my costs for creating the cake).
