I am so excited to be donating a custom cake on behalf of Icing Smiles! Please help me cover the cost of my baking materials as well as ensure that more children can receive a Smile.
This families' story is near and dear to my heart. They're currently in Colorado Springs and the military father/husband is deploying overseas for a year in May. Their eldest child was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer when he was 1, it went into remission and came back as stage 3 in October last year. While the his dad is away, they'll be living in my town with herbrother. This cake will be to celebrate the healthy sibling's 3rd birthday as well as a going away celebration for their whole family.
Icing Smiles is a nonprofit organization that provides custom celebration cakes and other treats to families impacted by the critical illness of a child. These cake create a temporary escape from worry and positive memories during a difficult time.
