Over the past two years I have spent many hours perfecting my baking skills and baking special cakes for family and friends.
Recently, my soon to be mother-in-law forwarded me an article about Icing Smiles, a nonprofit organization that provides custom celebration cakes to families impacted by the critical illness of a child. These cake create a temporary escape from worry and positive memories during a difficult time. I was so touched by this organization that I immediately signed up to be a volunteer baker. I was recently selected to bake a cake for a very special little girl this month. Please help me raise money for a wonderful cause!
