When a child is diagnosed with a terminal illness, it can be devastating to that child, as well as the family. When my grandson received 3rd degree burns on his feet, I was willing to do anything to see him smile again. It was the little things that made him smile during the hard times of him having to endure painful surgeries and skin grafts. It was during that time that I realized how much a cupcake or a special cake brought so much joy to him and other sick children fighting to live, and it was during that time that I signed up to be a Sugar Angel for the sick. I am so excited to be donating a custom cake on behalf of Icing Smiles! Please help me cover the cost of my baking materials as well as ensure that more children can receive a Smile.

Icing Smiles is a nonprofit organization that provides custom celebration cakes and other treats to families impacted by the critical illness of a child. These cake create a temporary escape from worry and positive memories during a difficult time.
